FOUR STEPS TO FANCY!

Our Full-service design option is ideal for the discerning client seeking a tailored and luxurious interior space, and our process allows us the freedom to execute our client’s dreams with efficiency and diligence. 



STEP 1: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT:  This is the time to get to know each other and have a preliminary discussion about your design goals. During our in-person meeting, we will discuss the scope of your project in further detail and take inventory of any existing furniture piece to be included in the design plan.  Upon signing the Interior Design Agreement we will take measurements and photos of your space, and obtain architectural plans if available. We will request that you complete our Style Questionnaire to assist us in clarifying your style preferences and lifestyle needs. With the information gathered we will formulate a schematic design plan, identifying key pieces and the overall direction for your space.  You will receive a personalized design, inspired by your vision, complete with a floor plan, items list, material samples, a preliminary budget, and a digital mood board to convey the design style, inspiration, and color scheme.

STEP 2: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT:  Once we’ve agreed on the direction of the above-mentioned aesthetic, we further develop the scheme with more specific details.  This process, lasting several weeks, includes finalizing the color story, and sourcing of fabrics, furniture, fixtures, and materials.  At the end of this phase, you will be presented with carefully edited selections that represent the best choices for your space along with a complete cost proposal for all items to be purchased through the designer, including labor and tax (freight and delivery costs are billed separately).  

STEP 3:  PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT:  During this time, orders will be placed, the stock will be checked and reserved, and items will start arriving in your storage. There will also be continued shopping and selection in this phase for secondary items like accessories, lamps, and smaller pieces. Anything that was not approved or selected in the Design Phase will be secured in this phase. This is the time that any construction or remodeling occurs and hard finishes will go in. Depending on the scope and scale of the project as well as if items are in stock and if decisions and payments were made quickly this phase takes anywhere from 2 months to 2 years.

STEP 4:  INSTALLATION:  We will add the final touches to bring your inspired space to life!  The installers will bring all of your items, and staff from Tiffany René Interior Design will be on hand to place and style everything. Art will be hung, bookshelves styled, light bulbs installed.  Additional completion items will be secured, and final photos will be taken. We like to stay until the last candle is lit and make sure that your space is perfect.  We kindly request that clients remain off-site during this process...you’ll return to the completed home of your dreams.
